Hi need help on this error message as it came on 29th night when the job ran..on the next day again job ran successfully with out an error.. 1)component "Rog_Details" (1) failed validation and returned error code 0xC020801C. 2)SSIS Error Code DTS_E_CANNOTACQUIRECONNECTIONFROMCONNECTIONMANAGER . The AcquireConnection method call to the connection manager "ARE_123P" failed with error code 0xC0202009. There may be error messages posted before this with more information on why the AcquireConnection method call failed. 3)SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80004005. An OLE DB record is available. Source: "OraOLEDB" Hresult: 0x80004005 Description: "ORA-12541: TNS:no listener". Can you guys pls tell why it came only one day and its fine after the next day..even i didn't fix any thing.

In my experience this error was the result of the database unavailability. Also happens a lot when cluster nodes flip. Since this is Oracle please try to follow up with its DBA to determine why at that time the database was not up. I would not try to troubleshoot your package at this time.Arthur My Blog

Were there any other errors on the network that night? Issues in the event logs? Server restarts?
