Hi Have you checked with the AD team to see if any group policies are applied that are restricting \ preventing software installs? You might find more useful info here: http://blogs.technet.com/b/kevinholman/archive/2011/02/01/opsmgr-2007-r2-cu4-rollup-hotfix-ships-and-my-experience-installing-it.aspx Take note that applying CU4 to agents (approving in console) can cause an auto-restart of services on windows 2008 + R2 servers and hence cause outages to clusters \ messaging. Kevin describes the problem in the url above. If you do have any Windows 2008 (+R2) servers in your environment then you may wish to apply full change control prior to approving their upgrade (ie assume that services will be restarted and cause an outage).
