I'm receiving the following error (in the SharePoint log) when I try to create a new (and first) web application in WSS 3.0/SP2 running with SQL 2008/SP1 on Windows Server 2008 R2 in a Windows 2003/SP2 AD domain. SharePoint and SQL are both installed on the same system. The application uses the default web site on port 80 with NTLM authentication. I'm using the DefaultAppPool. When I click the button to create the site the message: "You have chosen to change this IIS Web site from Kerberos to NTLM authentication. Do you wish to continue?" is given. I don't know if that is pertinent or not. During the SharePoint installation, I selected Web Front End and to create a new server farm in the configuration wizard.
