Error creating TS Media for Child Sites
I am attemtping to create boot media for our child sites to test the OSD deployment at those sites. When I go through the steps to create the media for a Distribution point I get this error:
Error: Task sequence media information
Media type: USB flash drive
USB drive: I:\
Protect media with password: No
Create self signed certificate: Yes
Start time: 06/29/2011 07:41:55
Expiration time: 06/29/2012 07:41:55
Support unknown computers: Yes
Distribution point(s): SMSHT
Boot image: SCCM Boot image (x86)
Errors
Error creating media. Error message is : The hash value is not correct.. Please refer to CreateTsMedia.log to get details.
I can go through the same steps for our primary site and it works just fine. The CreateTSMedia.log does not have any entries in it. Anyone have any thoughts?"You can't fix stupid!"

Update the x86 boot image to a new source version, wait until it reached all DPs and retry it.Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de

For hash mismatch error, you can update your boot image package to the DP and wait 1 or 2 hours, and make sure the package updates are replicated down to the child site. Then retry if failed too, you can remove and readd package from DP, it really takes
some time to finish.
Also as i know, there is a known issue of hash error with IIS 6.0 and WebDAV that occurs when virtual directory points to the root of drive as the path such as C:\.
Thanks
