I am trying to install Windows 7 via PXE Boot but I am having problems.

I have Configuration Manager 2012 R2 installed on Windows Server 2012 R2 with SQL Standard 2012

When I press F12 to PXE boot the test laptop I am receiving the following error;

The Windows Boot Configuration Data (BCD) file from the PXE server does not contain a valid operating system entry. Ensure that the server has boot images installed for this architecture.

Have you successfully distributed the boot images to the Distribution Point?

It is most likely that you don't have both the x86 and x64 boot image on the SCCM PXE DP.

You need to ensure the check box is checked on both those boot images to allow them to be used for PXE.  You also need to ensure they have been distributed to the PXE enabled distribution point.

When I saw R2 I just assumed you would have KB2905002 installed because of the slow download issue...  If you don't have it installed, you should install it on your primary site server, update your boot images and media, and update your consoles.

Can you please let me know how can I rename the packages the log file is mentioning?

If the packages already exist that would suggest that the update has already been installed. Do these packages exist?

After you install this update you must re-distribute your boot images.
