Error code: 0x8007232B Cannot activate Windows 10 Enterprise

Can't activate Windows 10 Technical Preview Enterprise. Keep getting Error code: 0x8007232B

I don't have a KMS server, and I don't have a MAK. Didn't know they were required. I just wanted to test it out for my small business.

Volume activation is not required. Where did you get the Technical Preview from?  I grabbed mine from my TechNet subscription and my key was located in the more details area of the Technical Preview Enterprise section.

I checked one other spot for a key and it's also in the TechNet evaluation center after signing up and subscribing it will be under pre-install instructions and will list an activation key.

This seems to be a common issue:

I had a similar issue. It was supposed to install pre activated but did not. Fix is as follows:

1. Open Administrative command prompt (Windows key+x > A)

2. Type: SLUI 3

3. Enter the product key Microsoft provided for recovery scenarios: PBHCJ-Q2NYD-2PX34-T2TD6-233PK

This fix seems to be working for most people as seen here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/c1e20a2d-4766-4684-bf9e-5fee2509676d/activation?forum=WinPreview2014Setup#021a3eee-c7c9-4718-b344-85f498791cd0

Not working for me.  Build 9926 & 10005.  Always get c004c32b error.   Have tried the built in key, the enterprise key and the pro key.   Have tried the enterprise build and the pro builds.  Must be something about my HP Stream 7?

This did not work for me.  It said product key entered is a default product key.  Please help.  I am still unable to activate my windows 10.

Don't use the GUI...

For Enterprise: Right click at Start button > select "Command Prompt (Admin)" > copy/paste this command:

slmgr /ipk PBHCJ-Q2NYD-2PX34-T2TD6-233PK

Press enter and all will be well.

Before you repeat your fix again.... READ THIS FIRST: Some OF US HAVE SAID THAT THESE DID NOT WORK, and have CLEARLY STATED THIS in our posts...

I have tried all listed fixes on here and in socialanswers to no avail... With the GUI, Without the GUI, Always an elevated cmd prompt too...

For Enterprise: Right click at Start button > select "Command Prompt (Admin)" > copy/paste this command:

slmgr /ipk PBHCJ-Q2NYD-2PX34-T2TD6-233PK

With the above fix, I get:

Error 0xC004F050 The Software Licensing Service reported that the product key is invalid.

With this fix:

1. Open Administrative command prompt (Windows key+x > A)

2. Type: SLUI 3

3. Enter the product key Microsoft provided for recovery scenarios: PBHCJ-Q2NYD-2PX34-T2TD6-233PK

I will get this error:

The product key you have entered appears to be a default product key and can not be used for activation

I get the same errors trying both .vbs commands too!

So, If anyone has a fix OTHER THAN THE ONES ALREADY LISTED I would greatly appreciate it,

Thanks,

Tommy

Never mind, I found this in the WIKI:

if you using build Windows 10 Enterprise build 10074 or later, use  VTNMT-2FMYP-QCY43-QR9VK-WTVCK

And it worked like a charm!

Doesn't work. I get an error saying that the software can't be activated because it is a "default installation key".

It has been like this since install months ago, hasn't gone away and so far I have found no solution to fix the issue at all. Not only that, but Microsoft has removed the manual method so you can't even call Microsoft to get it fixed.

PERFECT. Thanks MN Paradox, that did the trick exactly!

slmgr /ipk  CKFK9-QNGF2-D34FM-99QX2-8XC4K

Build 10159 and this is the only thing that works.  Everything else continued to give different errors.

This is THE solution - I've had to do the activation every time, rain or shine. This bypasses the eventual duplicate key error we all know is coming, and like magic, your machine is golden.
