Error ID 27745 (Could Not Connect To Config Db)
Our SharePoint 2007 server keep throwing 27745 error message like this: It happens very often, every 15 minutes, every time, it has around 20 errors(27745) The description for Event ID ( 27745 ) in Source ( Windows SharePoint Services 3 ) cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer, or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer, or contact the component manufacturer for a newer version. If the event was saved from another computer or forwarded from a remote computer, you might have to include display information with the events when saving them or when setting up the forwarding s #50071: Unable to connect to the database MOSS07_Config_db on SharePoint Server. Check the database connection information and make sure that the database server is running..

There are other errors happens before and after this error. such as: 3355 Cannot connect to SQL Server. xxxx not found. Additional error information from SQL Server is included below. Hi, Thanks to share your post. For the issue, do you mean that you meet error 27745 and some other errors? I just wonder what the operation that you have taken. The possible cause should be due to the moving of a site collection or a content database. To resolve this issue, you should run "stsadm -o sync -deleteolddatabases n". It deletes old records corresponding to these databases that have not been synchronized since n days. If you want to know more about this command, please refer to this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc263196.aspx. And you may also check the error in ULS logs located in %COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\Microsoft Shared\Web server extensions\12\LOGS.
