Hello,I've the following error at the end of the FIM CM Configuration Wizard...Have you any ideas about it ?

When does this error occur is you could be quite specific i.e when the installation gets to 99% etc

It's when the FIM CM Config Wizard end, at 99% of the process, my install is in French langage

Just looking at the message, it looks like some contraint was broken in the database.When you re-run the wizard, make sure to replace the existing database.Also, there is a log file created by the set up wizard (check out in the Certificate Management folder).The error should be the last entry in the log (where it failed).This would provide more detailsBrian

It looks like there was some problem creating the two sample profile templates. What I recommend is deleting the profile templates (not normally recommended, but should be OK in your case since you have never issued a certificate with FIM CM).Try deleting the profile templates from the directory using AD Sites and Services (ensure to show the services node).They will be in Services\Public Key Services\Profile TemplatesThe failure is when the sample smart card profile template is attempted to be written.Ensure that the account running the config wizard is a member of the Enterprise Admins group and that you run with the Run as Administrator option..Brian

Is contoso\adminfimcm a member of the Enterprise Admins group?Brian

I remember havin a similar issue but can't remember the exact error. What I did was ensure that the latest .Net 3.5 SP1 was installed.

I have the lastest .Net 3.5 SP1 installed and contoso\adminfimcm is a member of the Enterprise Admins group !I had the same error on CLM 2007 French install...

You seem to have progressed (since you have a new thread that can only occur after you complete the wizard).What was the issue?Brian

The wizard has finished well, but I think some things have not installed. I Meet the unknown type errors in the logs FIM-CM related to ASP.net.I know someone who also had this error in CLM 2007, and was obliged to finish the configuration rights on the CLM agent manually. Does someone already encountered this error?

Finally i found the error: " When you run the config wizard on an OS with non-English set as the language, some of the localized profile template names exceed the 64 character maximum cn constraint on the profile tempalte object in AD. The workaround (unfortunately) is to change the setting on the server to English. The English profile template names do not violate this constraint. We're working on figuring out how best to correct this issue." To resume => Install FIM-CM on an english OS . For FR regional Settings, you will see French text in FIM-CM portal; for US regional Settings, English text, etc... Hope this help ^^ Lylian
