Hi , I have migrated package from SSIS-2005 to SSIS-2008. I am getting error for script task. I am getting below error. Error : The binary code for the script is not found. Please open the script in desiner by clicking Edit Script button and make sure build successfully. I would be appreciate for any help. Thanks in advance !Prashant Mhaske

Hello Prashant, Follow the advice in the message, sometimes, you need to open it in the Script Designer (VSTA/VS) and then merely close it, after that the error should disappear.Arthur My Blog

I suspect the upgrade went bad or you have the dev tools not installed cleanly. There is also a possibility for this task to contain some odd code. Thus, the next step is: Go back to your old package (using the VS2005/BIDS2005) and copy only the relevant code (w/o the designer fluff);Go to the new designer and drop this Script Task; thenRecreate it a new, if the code designer opens paste the cod from the step #1, if not working (errors opening a fresh Script Task) consider a re-isntallArthur My Blog

If that's occurring, then it's most likely that you have a syntax error in your script. Open the script and select Build from the Build menu. You should see a list of errors pop up... fix them. Talk to me now on
