Error: RsConfigTool moved or deleted
Hi, I tried to pen report configuration manager,but i got a pop up saying "The item 'RSConfigTool.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moced,so this shortcut will no longer work properly." .Please provide me the solution to resolve this. Also,what is the physical location that rsconfigtool.exe is stored? I am using Sqlserver 2008 Developer Edition. Regards Chaithu559

If you cant find it there. 1.Go to Start-->AllProgrames-->SQLServer2008-->ConfogarationTools-->ReportingServiceConfigarationManager 2.Right Click and Check in Properties. Hi Chaithu559, First, as Rakesh said, I double-confirmed that the default path of the file should be \Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Binn. I think the RSConfigTool.exe might be deleted by accident. You may want to copy one from another running machine with the same SQL Server 2008 Develop Edition. Or, you can decide to repare it by inserting the SQL Server 2008 Develop Edition DVD-Rom into your computer. Thanks, Eileen
