Endpoint Protection scan settings

I have a question that is bothering me and my users.  In my scheduled scan settings in SCCM 2012 R2, I have a daily quick scan to run at 9:00am and then I have a weekly full scan to run on Tuesday's at 8am. On Tuesday's a full and quick scan runs which causes my users to call and complain that they are having a scan run most of the day. Why would SCCM have it do a quick scan on the day I have a full scan scheduled. That makes no sense to me.  Am I setting this up wrong?

Hi,

Full scan cost more system resource depending on the number of files and resources scanned. Audit the performance issue is caused by CPU or disk. You can limit CPU usage in policy.

You may schedule a full out of business time.

Why would SCCM have it do a quick scan on the day I have a full scan scheduled.

You can check task scheduler on the client computer.
