Endpoint Protection Client side shows correct definition version, sever show the first one ever installed

Hi All

Wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.  I have one endpoint protection client (for the life of me) will not update the server with its current definition version.  

Client side shows the updated definition but the server still shows the first definition after install. 

I've re-installed EPP several times, inventory scans etc doesn't update the record in the database.

Hi,

It sounds like it could be an issue with the SCCM client as it is the SCCM client that actually repors back the status to the SCCM Server. Does the SCCM client succesfully report inventory etc to the SCCM Server? That is where I would start, check the log files on the client to make sure it can communicate as well.

Hi,

How many clients are there sufferring the problem?

In addition to Jrgen's statement, InventoryAgent.log should be helpful.

So far i have 5 clients experiencing the problem, client side update but the server shows old. 

I'm going to check inbox to see if there are any malformed reports. 

I also notice the SMS Agent service will not stop and I have to kill it using Pskill, i think this is related.
