Hello everyone,Today I enabled anonymous access in my forms-based WSS 3.0 site collection. It works well however I have encountered a slight problem. When I navigate to http://myserver, it does not redirect to http://myserver/Default.aspx. The page goes blank - I have to manually type in "default.aspx" then it redirects to the login page. It used to automatically redirect to the site's homepage but now it doesn't anymore ever since I enabled anonymous access. Does anymore know how I can fix this?Thank you-Sam

Hi sam,I dont think this behaviour due to moving sharepoint site on anonymous.let me know whether you have written Http handlers for your sharepoint site?Let me know about your sharepoint site anonymous problem in deep?Thanks Shrivallabh Kulkarni

Thank you for your response Shrivallabh.I was able to reproduce the same issue on my development VM. 1) create FBA site 2) enable anonymous access 3) try to access http://myserver. It does the same thing. The root site is secure - I enabled anonymous access on a sub-site. SharePoint should redirect from http://myserver to login.aspx then to http://myserver/Default.aspx.But I have to manually type in "default.aspx" then it redirects to the login page. Try it out.
