Hello, after spending a lot of time in this forum I would like to clarify the supported text features for SSRS 2008 R2: Is it possible to use embedded word documents? Is Ritch Text Format supported? Is there a better HTML support than in SSRS 2008? Thanks for your support!

Hi Alex, Based on my research, I’m afraid that Reporting Services 2008 and Reporting Services 2008 R2 only support formatting text and importing HTML. For more information please refer to: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645967.aspx In order to embed RTF in the report, one possible workaround is to render the RTF file into IMG file, and then display the image on the report.
