Emailing Sharepoint 2007 Form loses formatting
Hi, I have a sharepoint 2007 form built in infopath. This form has dropdown lists, text boxes, tables etc. When we submit the form it sends an email. If the form is submitted from InfoPath then the email is formatted correctly. If the same form is submitted from the web browser (which is what all users do), then the formatting is all wrong e.g. the tables are now about 5 times wider then they should be. It is clear the issue is related to submitting from the browser and not info path while using Outlook 2007 or 2010. This issue has impacted our entire implementation as the company has upgrade to Outlook 2007. 2003 was never an issue. I understand that 2007 has changed the way it renders these emails but it still doesn't explain why the place of submital has such an affect on the result. Thanks.

I cannot believe that no one has any thoughts on this issue. There are many people on the internet who have posted a similar issue with no answer either. Without this working is renders a very key feature of sharepoint almost useless. Please comment if you have any ideas.

A bump complaining about people not replying isn't very useful. Add some more information or re-phrase your original question. But "I can't believe" etc. is just annoying. Moderator. Posting an InfoPath question to the InfoPath forum and not to the general forum would have improved your chances of a reply btw. Hi, You are absolutely right. I guess the frustration of not being able to find an answer to this is showing. Great suggestion to post on InfoPath forums. I will try this as the issue has been posted many times on the internet but no one seems to have an answer. Thanks.
