Email sending twice on trigger

Hi,

may be because something is changing it so it triggers when created and when updated.

you can remove the check box start workflow when item is changed.

and create separate workflow when item changed if needed.

Hi Matt, it may be because your server is slow. Add a 2 minute pause before the workflow is kicked off and see if that solves the problem.

Hi Expert's,

Once again I need you to save me.

I've created a very simple workflow that will send out an email when a status = Emergency 

Here is my configuration

here is the email workflow

Any idea why this would send the same email twice on trigger?

SharePoint 2010 btw

Your help will be most appreciated.

Hi,

Whether this issue happen to other recipients.

Please try to start Outlook in safe mode to check if this issue is caused by any problematic add-in. To do this, press Windows key + R to open the Run command, type outlook /safe and press Enter. If the problem disappears in safe mode, please go to File > Options > Add-ins and disable suspicious add-in to resolve this issue.
