Email Sending via SPD Workflow

I created one workflow to send email via SPD. The workflow sends the email to the person whose Work e-mail appear in userdisp.aspx page only. This page is accessible via Site Actions > Site Permissions > Click on any user account.

enter image description here

The page above displays user information including Work e-mail. If the Work e-mail field is empty then email is not send to the user because I am using the user account name in "TO" field in email action of SPD workflow. How can I get Work e-mail for every user in SharePoint? Please note I have updated all user account's email property in AD services. But strange only this user "nkassem" Work e-mail appears and only this user receives email.

How can I get Work e-mail for all users in SharePoint?

Hi Zakir,

Did you sync the user properties from AD to SharePoint User Profile?

If not, I recommend to configure User Profile Service and User Profile Synchronization service to sync the user properties from AD to user profile in SharePoint.

And then we can sync User profile to user information list in sites.

About how to configure User Profile Service application and User Profile Synchronization service:

Hi Victoria,

Thank you for your answer.

I checked on these 2 services - UPS Application and UPS Service, both are running fine.

I even manually try to run the timer jobs as given in 2nd article link but I found in Central Admin that the timer jobs runs successfully but with 0 duration. That's really confusing for me. Please have a look at this snapshot:

Hi Zakir,

Please check if the user profiles have been synced to user profile service application in User Profile Service Application.

Please go to Central Administration > Manage service applications > User Profile Service Application > Manage User Profiles.

Hi Victoria,

I checked on Manage User Profiles and found empty list. Is it necessary to have users in this list?

Hi Zakir,

If no user profiles are listed, that means no user profiles have been synced to SharePoint for users.

Please check if you have configured User Profile Synchronization Service:

This is confusing. If the profile is not synced, then how come the profile details are appearing on the users.aspx page (image) that I shared in the question. If you observe the image shared in the question it displays the email, department, title, etc.

How this users.aspx is different and how the details are updated on this page?

Thanks
