Editing mof files on the SCCM 2007 R3 Server
Hi All, I have to edit the SMS_Def.mof & Configuration.mof files of the SCCM server so as to append some classes with SCCM to add some extra reporting feature for MBAM 2.0 Beta refresh. It has been mentioned in the documentation that we need to append the MBAM classes with the SCCM 2007 r3 Server by editing the mof files but I am not able to edit the files. Can we edit the mof files on the SCCM server. If yes, does it requires some additional permissions? Do we need to do additional configurations? What changes it requires? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ThanksGaurav Ranjan

No "extra" rights is required. And no extra configurations is needed. But you need rights to edit mof file, is just ordinary ntfs rights on the file.
