Editing a custom attribute on Request resource
I am trying to add an editable custom attribute to the Request resource. I have created the custom attribute and bound it to the Request resource, and then edited the RCDC for "Configuration for Request" to include a UocTextBox for the custom attribute. I then go to the "Search Requests" page and click on a request. The custom attribute shows up with a text box, and I can enter data into it, but there is no way to save it; there is no "OK" or "Save" button which would save the value which is entered into the text box. Is there another way to achieve what I am trying to do? Is there perhaps an "Edit Request" page which I haven't discovered yet? If not, is it possible to create a custom "Edit Request" Page?

Can you provide the RCDC code where you specify the text box? Is the attribute optional? We only support optional attribute binding with the out of box resource types.Elisa

I've done it with a custom workflow activity. I believe you have to use the FIM Service to write to a Request object.I used some parametes on the summary page of an RCDC for the User resource then read it out of the parameters.Eric
