We have site definition page layout using web part page. There exist too much white space between top nav bar and first web container where library view is inserted. I see large box labeled Page Contnet with nothing in it and under it are the web part containers. My questions are: what is preferred file to edit that area to reduce this white space? I believe it to be default.master , yes? and if doing edit changes site definition what is result of that ? Is there simpler method I'm overlooking? Any assistance is appreciatederic

Well, turs out the fix is very simple. When do a page edit. put focus on the Page Content area. Right click to >select all exposed some hidden unknown tab space breaks. select all and delete. Web part falls in alignment with top of quick launch bar. Save page > publish >FIXED HOPE THIS HELPSeric
