We've been getting a lot of weird errors lately with Sharepoint 2003 when users try to edit a Excel or Word Document, it's prompts them for their username over and over and only opens up the file in Read Only doesn't let them edit. All the users that are having to problem are running Windows 7, when they had XP it worked fine. Any ideas how to get around it?

Hi, Try to use the 32-bit IE (C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe). And set the logon mode as automatic logon using current user name and password from IE > tools > internal options > security > custom level > logon. Then try again. Hope it is helpful! Seven
