Can System Center be used to manage the networks of multiple companies from on console? I have been looking through the forums but I have not seen this question asked and answered unless I did not recognize the terminology. I cannot help but wonder if this set of applications might reduce network support costs for smaller and mid-sized companies. As an integrator, I send network engineers to customer sites and they do the same functions with each network. It would be nice to manage the routines remotely and respond to red flags as needed.

Hello, I think you are looking for a software like System Center Remote Operations Manager. Remote Operations Manager is a solution that gives an aggregate view of remote small to mid-market customers’ health - enabling service providers to more efficiently manage more customers with deeper management needs. Knowledge about the most common services and operating systems is built in and automatically alerts at a high level when something goes wrong at a customer site. Remote Operations Manager takes advantage of the technology provided in System Center Operations Manager 2007 and connects to System Center Essentials 2007 at the customer site for monitoring, reporting, update management, software distribution and inventory. The solution also provides a web portal to connect to the customer machines for easy access.
