ERE Cannot Remove
I am getting import errors from FIMMA. I had a configuration error in the sync rules, but now I cannot delete the ERE. I used the script :Using Powershell to Delete ERE's. That script now comes up ERE not found. I see links to another script to delete Orphaned ERE objects, but the link is down and cannot be found elsewhere. Does anyone have suggestions on what to look at, or a good link to the new script. I am assumming orphaned ERE, but could be wrong. FIMMA Import Errors for ERE is Unexpected-error. Thank you, Brian

Hi, The following script works for me: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ilm2/thread/3db4100d-16da-4002-9708-43949659a4f8/ Before running the script you have to create an MPR that grant the deletion of EREs. Patrick.Patrick Layani

Thank you Patrick, I did use that script and was able to remove the EREs. I ran it again just to make sure and came up null so they are gone. But on my Full Import I still get the discovery errors for the EREs of Unexpected-error. I am not sure if I am right here, but I also tried to delete the FIMMA connector space and it errors while trying to remove the same ERE's.

The scripts are only good for orphaned EREs - this doesn't apply to your case. According to your description, you don't have an issue in sync - your issue is in the FIM service. The only option I see before you should better contact CSS is to delete the reference to the ERE the affected object has. Cheers, MarkusMarkus Vilcinskas, Knowledge Engineer, Microsoft Corporation
