Dupplicated rdl in solution explorer
Hi, I don't know what is wrong, but i have in my solution explorer 2 reports having the same name. In other words, in the folder Reports in the solution explorer, i have 2 reports with the same name: 14A. if i delete one, the other is also deleted. Please advice. i am using visual studio 2008 - Reporting services 2008 Regards, GeorgesGL

Find the underlying solution folder in windows explorer, copy away one of the reports called 14A. In Visual Studio delete the two reports called 14A. Add the report you copied away back into the solution folder, then add existing item to bring the report back into the solution.FredSQL

Hi Georgesl, I have test on my computer, but the issue was not reproduced. I am not sure how did you got duplicate rdl file in solution explorer. Actually, it cannot contain duplicate names in a project in BIDS. For example, there has a rdl file named as "test" in a project, if I type another rdl file with the same name, there will be an error prompt like: "path\test.rdl file has already exists in this project" Is those duplicate rdl files in different files or different projects ? Could you please supply more details about the issue? If possible, could you please send your project file to us? Once I receive your email, I will give you a feedback as soon as possible.
