Duplicate entries in User alerts daily summary report
Hi All,
Can any one tell why 'new', 'edit' entries are showing when new item is created in document library when an user configured for to receive user alerts on daily summary reports.
For example
Item1.docx Username timestamp New
Item1.docx Username timestamp Edited
.
.
Can any one explain why this report is coming like this?
Environment : MOSS 2007 & Windows Server 2003

Hi,
Do you have 2 seperate alerts setup for that list. I.e. the first alert for 'New' items and another for 'edit'?
You can see your alerts within your settings (top right hand corner).Aaron

Iam only having one alert configured. if i add a new item, it is showing two records as "new" and "Edit" with same time in Modified column. here is my daily summary view.

These two are the new one's that i added. but it is showing "Edited" as well.
Please suggest what need to be done.
