Duplicate Search crawl due to content issues
I need to create a new search crawl on a MOSS 2007 farm to crawl 2 document libaries that are also crawled in another crawl. This is because the standard crawl is not always picking up the changes to these libaries and is causing data issues. To do this do I just create a new content source? Do I add the URL for the libary in for each source and create 2 or can I do it another way? Not even sure if this will have any adverse effect... Thanks

This post should be posted in the Pre-SharePoint 2010 forums. Moderators, please move this post. Make sure your content access account has a Web Application Policy for Full Read. Perhaps thats why it's not picking up the changes. Also make sure there isnt a Crawl Rule applied that might be preventing this library as well.Adam Preston - MCTS SP2010/MOSS/WSS | Blog: http://www.tcscblog.com | Twitter: @_apreston
