Hi guys, I am getting duplicate clients when PXE booting and reimaging a machine.I have a script which runs and merges these records however for some reason I am still getting duplicate records which appear as Approved: NA clients. This is causing severe issues with application deployment as some collections do not contain the active correct client. I have to delete the NA client I have no idea why two are being created when I am merging these records? THis is not consistent, sometimes it will create and sometimes not Also could I get a run down on exactly when this could be getting created? During OSD or durning verification with MP? Thanks

Do your PCs share duplicate UUIDS? this was a problem for us so we had to import the PC details using computer association. This was an issues because our PC supplier did not change the UUID in the bios before delivery and is often a problem when the motherboard is replaced.

Are the duplicate objects "Obsolete" or "Active" objects? When they are obsolete follow the steps from this blog: http://henkhoogendoorn.blogspot.com/2011/03/how-to-manage-obsolete-clients-in.html When merging new objects with (the same) older objects use this instruction from Jörgen Nilsson: http://ccmexec.com/?p=1047 which mentions also: Change the site settings to “Manually resolve conflicting records” under the Advanced tab in site properties in the SCCM Console.
