Drill down when a row group spans more than one page
Hi,
Using SSRS 2008, I have a report showing user permissions, e.g.:
User Category Permission
Type
Bob Administration Users
Setup
[User] and [Cateogry] are row groups, [Permission] and [Type] are details. Visibility of the details group is toggled by the User field.
When the data for a user spans more than one page, and I choose to collapse the details group for that user, it only collapses the Categories that are shown on that page, and then leaves whie space for the rest of the page. It then does the same on the
next page, e.g.:
Page1
User Category Permission
Type
+ Bob Administration
System Settings
Page2
User Category Permission
Type
+ Bob Payment Settings
Reporting
etc.
Is there any way to get the groups to all show on the same page (e.g. page 1) when collpased?
If I have the details initially hidden and then expand to show them, then it's fine as it puts them all on Page 1. The problem is only when I have the details shown initially and they span several pages, but I then want to collpase them.
Many thanks
