Hi everyone.I have to import users from a specific LDAP (A Domino LDAP ) The point is that, for some reasons, this LDAP is only the source of importation. The authentication is done by a basic Active Directory.The problem is that users imported from the LDAP connection have a account name fromatted as Provider:accountName. I would like this account name been re-formated as DOMAIN\AccountName.I did not succes to change this account name, nor programmatically(via the userProfile Web Service) nor via the administration console.Is there a way to set up the LDAP connection to have a specific account name?Thanks in advance.Romain K

Did you ever find a solution to this? I have the same problem, all userprofiles imported with ldap have a "ldap:accountname" accountname. When a user logs into sharepoint, the accountname property seems to get automatically updated to "DOMAIN\accountname". I would like a way to force this process because whatever is happening, i don't seem to be able to get the profile information with the object model (GetUserProfile() method) as long as the user hasn't logged on. The weird thing is I am not even able to get the profile by SID. Cheers, Merijn
