Domain displays in portal when attribute in not set
The FIM portal displays user domain (as a drop down list item) even when the user's domain attribute is not set. This makes things pretty confusing if (as in my case) your attribute flow exports to FIM for the domain attribute aren't quite working.Users who have this attribute set display identically to users who don't have it set. You only notice this if you manually select the domain from the drop down and submit. You then notice that it is changing domain from "no initial value" to "domain".It would be nicer if the portal displayed domain as blank or "no value" for users who do not have the domain attribute set.

Yep, this is a very good suggestion and the good news is, this is how it works in RC1.Cheers,MarkusMarkus Vilcinskas, Technical Content Developer, Microsoft Corporation

Great news.Do you know if there will be an upgrade path from RC0 to RC1 (and to RTM) or will it be a re-install?

From RC0, it will be a re-install.The schema a changed quitea bit!In RC1, we are introducing a cool set of migration tools that enable you to do what the name indicates.Cheers,MarkusMarkus Vilcinskas, Technical Content Developer, Microsoft Corporation
