Does the FIMService account need to be on Exchange 2010 for the Outlook-add-in to work with approval button?
I have changed the smtp server to the new Exchange 2010 server, but the FIMService account is still on our Exchange 2003 environment. I can verify that the mail is sent through the exchange 2010 server, but no buttons occur. The Add-in is offcourse installed./Frederik Leed

Found the answer here.. sorry. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ilm2/thread/5329ca7b-aa29-45cc-93b2-f4bc14bb7306 t's not FIM which has to be hosted on a Exchange Box, it's the mailbox of the FIM service account/users./Frederik Leed
