Hi Every One,

I have existing Termsets with pre fixed GUID's.

I want to keep existing one's and add new ones without affecting existing one's GUID.

Import Overwrites everything

XML creates duplicates and Powershell does the same or  i am not able to think of OOTB.

I've done A LOT of work recently with PowerShell and the Term Store. You will NEVER effect the GUID of the Term. You can't even overwrite items. If you want to "Update" the Term you will have to find it can call the method for renaming it. Updating it isn't really a thing. 

You will have an exception thrown saying its already created.

What is it exactly you want
