Does an edited task sequence need to be re-advertised?
Hi all,
Quick question I am wondering about. If I edit an OSD task sequence, will the changes be picked up in an existing advertisement or does the TS have to be readvertised for these changes to take place?
Many thanks,
Jay

no, you do not need to re-advertise the Task Sequence for the changes to appear simply wait a minute or two for it to propogate the changes, if you want to be sure that you are using the updated task sequence, simply make a change to the Name of the task
sequence (eg: add a version number at the end like Deploy Windows 7 Enterprise ver 1.0) and increment the version number to 1.1 etc...
when you pxe boot you should see the 1.1,. if not wait a few minutes and try again
