Does SQL 2008 R2 support WSS 3.0 (no service packs) ?
Guys,
I need to migrate a load of WSS 3.0 / MOSS 2007 DBs to SQL 2008 R2
Is this supported?
The SharePoint farm is pretty much unpatched at present.
Cheers,

My first concern would be that your SharePoint 2007 farm doesn't have the required service packs installed.
As far as I know, Microsoft stopped supporting pre-SP2 SharePoint 2007 installations as of April 2010 - see http://blogs.technet.com/b/stefan_gossner/archive/2010/01/07/is-your-sharepoint-2007-farm-already-on-service-pack-2-if-not-read-this.aspx.
Office SharePoint Server 2007 does support SQL Server 2008 R2, as long as you have SP2 installed.
Please see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262485(office.12).aspx#section1 for more info on minimum software requirements for MOSS.
