I'm encountering an issue when adding certain web parts to a document set landing page.

I have several related lists (issues list, discussion board etc) that I want views of on the document set landing page. I can add the issues list fine, as well as others, but if I add a discussion board web part or a timeline then all other web parts on the landing page are deleted.

Repeated this a couple of times to make sure I wasn't going mad...

Has anyone else encountered this issue or know a fix/workaround to try?

we're running SharePoint 2013 (on prem).

Hi David- deleted or just not showing? If you add a bunch of web parts, sometimes they "disappear" from the page, but they're still there. Try editing any one of the web parts- do the others show back up then?

They seem to be deleted entirely, even the default document set ones. The only webpart remaining on the page is the discussion board web part I just added, and editing it doesn't bring the others back.

Edit: Interestingly, it seems to have deleted the layout too. There is now only a single webpart zone on the page.
