I have a Document Library Audience Targetting enabled. All of the Audiences correspond to different office divisions within my company. I would like to be able to create a column in the Document Library that reveals which audience each document is targeted toward. Keep in mind that use of SharePoint Designer is prohibited in my environment. Thanks! Bill Update: SharePoint Designer is banned because it is considered a development environemnt and all development environments are banned. I can't use Visual Studio or even programming text editors or anything like that. I can do small VB Scripts in Access but only if I can write them quickly and they have to be submitted for review and approval.

Hi, I am afraid that there is no OOTB way to assign targeted audience to fields. Since it would be a complicated task without SPD or VS, I suggest you contact those who are entitled to use SPD for this task. Thanks & Regards.Lily Wu
