Hi, Does anyone know the solution for making Office 2003 documents in libraries to stop opening in read only mode, especially when the document's hyperlink is used? Hi, Thanks Mike. I have decided I will have to settle for that option since it's just a couple of HR users. I also find Emmanuel's link very useful, thanks a million. I have downloaded and kept the solution for a another day, sooner than I think I will need it. I want to test it out on my lab, and suggest it to my hierarchy, it sure is cool stuff.
