Dividing roles in SCCM
I have been tasked with adding a few more labs to our config that are not under my direct control. Is there a way for me to give them control of ONLY there collection I create for them? My Dream: I create an approved software update package and make it available. The individual lab owners click the package and deploy the updates by the schedule they create. Of course they can ONLY do that and cannot mess with any other collections, actions ect............. Am I trippen??? tconners

There was a session about this at MMS by Brian Mason. From what I understand of your requirements and his presentation he does exactly what you are asking for. I'm not sure if that info i published online anywhere but if you have access to an MMS DVD check it. John Marcum | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jmarcum |

Well one last thing here, what would be the correct method for creating the individual groups called out in the video? Do you just create the SG, add users then deligate access to resources in the SCCM IU? Any other areas im missing?tconners
