What I'm trying to achieveWhen compiling Audiences in MOSS, I would like to be able to select Distribution and Security Groups from the Peoplepicker control where thecontrolonly shows Groups that currently exist in AD.The problem I'm experiencingWhen I set up Audiences, I can adda ruleinthe page /_layouts/Audience_DefRuleEdit.aspx that defines the membership group of users. How often is your User Profile synchronizing? This is what synchronizes users and their group memberships with active directory (or a custom source). It may need to run a full import of profiles more often. I would start there and run a full import to see if that will help. You may need to run it a few times, as items usually have to be missing from import 3 times before the profile will be deleted. I am not positive this will affect the groups listed in the People Picker, but it would be a good place to start. Lori G.
