Display documents from subsites (SP2007 limited access)
Hello,
Im new to sharepoint. I have Owner access to sites. Admin has prevented usage of SharePoint designer.
I want to make a test site called Customers. Under this test site a number of Customer sites could be created.
In these Customer sites there would be one or more document libraries and lists
In the toplevel "Customers" site, I like to have some list or view or webpart, that displays specific documents or data from all the subsites.
What is the most standard or sharepoint way to do this?
Or is this a silly way of thinking SP sites?

The quck and easy answer is to consider a Content Query Web part. There's already a lot written on this, so I won't get into it but the information in this link should help you get started

Let's hope he has MOSS 2007 and not WSS 3.0 ("SP2007" could be either) otherwise he'll be hunting around for something that doesn't exist.
Please *always* when suggesting CQWP state that this is a MOSS-only option.
Or ask first which SharePoint product the user has and then if he replies "MOSS 2007" suggest CQWP.
