Display additional fields from a Sharepoint list item in an InfoPath form

The premise:

I need to find a way to have a user pick an item from a dropdown menu in an InfoPath form and have additional information about that item display on the page once the selection is made. For example, in this form, the user will be requesting PC Hardware, such as a new desktop. What we want is for the user to select the device by its title, and have the RAM, hard drive size, etc. (all stored in columns on the SP list) display alongside the selected item. We also need it to refresh each time a new item is selected. If it matters, these fields will be part of a repeating table so that users can select multiple different kinds of hardware and see the specs on each of them. How do we go about this?

Thank you,

Brad

Hi Brad,

As I understand, you want to display additional fields when a user select an item in dropdown menu in SharePoint 2013.

You could create cascading dropdown fields to achieve it in InfoPath. For more detailed information, you could refer to the articles below.
