I am trying to remove a disk from DPM.  Here's the output.

I checked the individual disk for data sources and it does still have legitimate data sources on it.

Thanks for the help.

Hi,

From the message, the process failed when performing "remove-DPMDisk" cmdlet.

It mentioned that "Disk 0 cannot be removed from the storage pool because it contains sotrage pool volumes", could you get any information with get-dpmdisk and get-dpmvolume? It could be caused if a volume on Disk 0 is added to a storage pool or removed from a storage pool but still in database.

Please also check your storage pools to see if disk0 is included in any of them.

Yes Disk 0 is still in the storage pool.  Any disk size additions made are not using that disk though.  So there are old volumes still on disk 0.

Hi,

Have you tried to manually remove it from disk? Open the console, go to Protection. Click on All - it will show some with Inactive protection. Right-click on the group/member and remove the data. This will remove the data from the disk.
