Disk size status messages
On a Windows Server 2008 Site Server we are getting status messages about a disk almost out of space. The disk in question is the 100 MB system reserved partition. Is there anyway to set SCCM to ignore the drive, or change the threshold for the drive. Not a major issue by any means, just annoying.Bob

Hi,You can control some of the settings by modifying/creating status filter rules. Those are found in Site Settings, Status Filter Rules.Kent Agerlund | http://scug.dk/members/Agerlund/default.aspx | The Danish community for System Center products

Thanks Kent. There appear to be two options for using this. The first is to turn the alert off, which is something we would like to avoid so that we can get the status for the main drives. The other is to assign a property to the monitor and set it to something like Distribution Point, but I'm not sure that will do what we want, I'll have to test it.Overall these status monitors don't to look to be all that robust. The proper answer is of course to use SCOM for this kind of monitoring.Bob
