I created discussion forum and site contribut permission to X group Now X group can create new discussions, can reply on discussions, but can't edit discussion properites for items didn't create by the user who try to edit it! is that normal behavior? means users with contribute permissions can reply but can't edit item properites!

Hi Green, Yes this is default behavior.... Go to Settings > Advanced Settings on the Discussion Board you created and you can change the Edit access: Specify which items users can edit: By Default Users can edit Only their own items.
