I am installing DirectAccess role on Server 2012 R2 but keep getting below error msg.

The request to add or remove features on the specified server failed.
The operation cannot be completed, because the server that you specified requires a restart

Can someone guide me??

Is this a newly installed Windows Server 2012 R2 which failed to install DirectAccess?

If you failed to install DirectAccess with GUI, you may try to use PowerShell
Install-WindowsFeature RemoteAccess -IncludeManagementTools
