We would like to display a large search box on our enterprise search page in SharePoint 2010 in our search web application. Currently the search input box for this enterprise search page is displayed in the middle of the search page.

We also see the search box on all sites where it says "Search This Site" inside the input box (currently positioned in the top right corner of the site).

When I change the CSS styles for the search box i.e. ms-sbplain {}

I see the style for the search input box in the top right changes but the style for the enterprise search input box does not change.  

Where can I find the different CSS styles that apply to the search box on the enterprise page?

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to find the CSS styles that applied to the search box on the enterprise page.

We can find the CSS styles in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\1033\STYLES.
