Diagram view in Service Level Dashboard 2.0
Hi, My environment has SCOM 2007 R2 up & running. I installed SLD 2.0. Created sample dashboard in SLD & its working fine. I created distribution application in operational console for one of the application. I am able to see the created distributed application in diagram view by right click on that. Now I created a SLO for the distributed application in Service Level Tracking and then its visible in SLD in form of Dashboard with speedometer. My requirement is that, instead of seeing dashboad & speedometer in web page, can I able to see the same diagram view which I seen in operational console for distributed application in SLd web page. Want to have diagram view in SLD instead of small dashbord & speedometer. If this is possible, then have a plan to create separate distributed applications for other applications & want to create separate webpages for each distributed application with diagram view and with separate login credentials. If you can create a custom web part to consume the opsmgr data, I'm sure it could be done, I've not seen too many examples of this but then again I'm not a Sharepoint dev so I dont go looking for it either. Just remember SLD 2.0 has a maximum of 6 SLO's that it can track. check out these links to try and get you on your way: http://www.scom2k7.com/how-to-create-a-custom-scom-dashboard-to-show-key-management-group-information/ also this one from Cameron http://systemcentercentral.com/BlogDetails/tabid/143/IndexID/86564/Default.aspx Scott Moss MVP (Operations Manager) | President - System Center Virtual Users Group | Vice President - Atlanta Southeast Management Users Group (ATL SMUG) Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you!

Hi The above links are useful to get the graphs in Bar or pi chart. I am interested in the diagram view ( hierarchy view). For example, if you look at the Monitoring tab, expand Microsoft Windows Active Directory, expand Topology views, in that we get the diagram view ( hierarchy view) for AD Sites, AD Forests & Domains. I created the same diagram view ( hierarchy view) for the distributed application under custom MP in Monitoring tab. My requirement is that, instead of seeing dashboard & speedometer in web page, can I able to see the same diagram view ( hierarchy view) in SLd web page, which I seen in operational console for distributed application. I have two suggestions, but they do not fix the exact specifics of using SDL 2 on SS 3. Export the diagrams, and use visio connector tool and have the diagrams displayed in visio. There is also a new Sharepoint 2010 and visio 2010 dashboard option too that is detailed here http://www.toolzz.com/?p=959 I would go with the second option, as there are many folks developing solutions in Sharepoint 2010. Hope this helps.Scott Moss MVP (Operations Manager) | President - System Center Virtual Users Group | Vice President - Atlanta Southeast Management Users Group (ATL SMUG) Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you!
