I'm writing a custom report delivery extension SSRS 2005and I'm trying to determine if there's a way to determine a reports file name extension.Take for example this line: m_files = notification.Report.Render("Excel", null);Is there a line of code that would return "Report Name.xls" or "xls" ?I need this to automatically save the file with the proper extension. Otherwise, I'm going to have to manage the"Format" and "Extension" somewhere in the SSRS rsreportserver.config File and i really dont' want to add any extra stuff in there.I'm also trying to make it really user friendly - so i'm trying tokeep track of as little info as possible.

has anybody been able to look at this?
