Details group visibility Problem
Hi I have designed in same report 2 ways 1) from the scratch using report designer 2) through Report wizard in the first case on the details group in the group pane i have set visibility to hide and enabled display can be toggled by item to group text box name in the second method i have just enabled the drilldown check box in the wizard. now my problem is in the 2ed case the report is working as i expected , all drill down is working as i expected in the second case it is showing the first row of the group by default as below , when i click the + it is showing the remaining also, here i am giving report preview the exported to word . Hi RAVIKIRAN.M, As Kumar posted, please elaborate your problem more exactly. Do you mean the report which generated by Report Wizard is correct while the report created in Report Designer isn’t? If so, in order to create a same report in Report Designer, please refer to the steps below: 1. Add a table to the report. 2. Add the data fields ContactName, City and Region into cells in the detail row. 3. In the Row Groups pane, right click the (Details) item and select Add Group -> Parent Group… 4. In the Tablix group dialog, select the Country data field in the Group by dropdown list. Also check the option Add group header. 5. A new column will be added. Select the textbox in the new column and check its name in the Properties pane. For example, the name is Country. 6. Select (Details) in the Row Groups pane. 7. In the Properties pane, specify the Hidden property to True, and specify the ToggleItem property to the textbox name Country. After that, the report is as same as the one which generated by Report Wizard.
