Hi, to everyone. I have one of my customer that what to know what is the complete process to install SCCM Client. I mean for example:
Step 1 ccmsetup.exe is copying to the pc (how many archives & details in Mb by archive)
Step 2. uncompress.exe and create folders
Step 3 start services

Nope, we don't document that level of detail. I have some general ideas, but not to the level that you are looking for. If they want that level of detail, they'd need to do their own profiling of our client install process (unless someone else has already done it).

ccmsetup.log shows you something to start with

Give them the client installation flowchart from the docs. They shouldn't need more than that.

Both Torsten's and John's responses are good suggestions, but still don't answer the original request And I'm sure that will be the case, there won't be a complete answer for the original question :-)

Would there be any documentation over a high level overview of the SCCM client installation process?// Lundegard

I've been looking myself for this for a while.
the Best I can find is the SuperFlow, you can find it here.

There is also this blog post (which was also turned into a KB but I can never remember the number):

ccmsetup.log shows the process.
In turn the msi also drops a log (well if there is an error).
Both are fairly explicit in the details given on what happens during the installation.
